Simon is not only an experienced and gifted Tai Chi Instructor, he is also a qualified and skilled coach and therapist. Cher is also a trained coach, starting this training with Marks and Spencer before moving into education to become a secondary school teacher. This range of skills allows us to create engaging and interesting workshops across a range of topics and outcomes. Below is a summary of the kind of special events we have done, but we're always open to new and interesting challenges.

Schools

Simon started his working life as a play worker and then trainer for the YMCA. Since then he has gone on to work with children of all ages as a coach and mentor. In addition, Cher is a secondary school teacher able to ensure that the workshops are tailored where necessary to current educational priorites. This experience makes him a skilled and fun workshop leader able to engage and motivate students from a range of backgrounds. CRB checked.

Sir Robert Woodard Academy, Shoreham-by-Sea: A 2-day series of workshops for students as part of the whole school summer enrichment days. In combination with a range of other activities.

Shoreham Academy, Shoreham-by-Sea: A Year 8 top set workshop. The RE department wanted to create an experience based on the students extension activities exploring Taoism.

Charities

Tai Chi has so many benefits for so many situations in life that we are frequently approached by charities wanting their client group to have access toTai Chi or Qigong. We are always happy to work with any size or ability level of group and will work with you to ensure your clients receive the best possible experience.

Breast Cancer Care: Workshops at two separate regional charity events held in Brighton. Tai Chi is noted for its benefits to health and healing, and is often used to support treatment for a wide range of health issues.

Open Door (HIV charity): Workshops at two different 'pamper days' to allow clients of the charity to experience Tai Chi (which is proven to reduce stress and improve immune response),
